Hollywood Themed Trivia Night Fundraiser and Social!

 

Picture this: You walk into a room buzzing with excitement and are greeted by the aroma of mouthwatering heavy hors-d'oeuvres that will keep your tastebuds delighted all night long. Thirsty? Don't worry; we've got a cash bar stocked with both your favorite adult beverages and tempting non-alcoholic concoctions. Sip, snack, and strategize all while building camaraderie and relationships with your fellow WSE parents.  

 

Trivia will commence around 7pm. This is your chance to shine and win fabulous prizes, so rally your fellow parents into a dream trivia team of 8 players and register today! Bragging rights, showing off your smarts, and taking home some serious loot are all on the table. After trivia has commenced, you can keep the fun going with our DJ and social!

 

Mark your calendar, exercise those brain cells, and join us for an unforgettable night! This adults-only soiree promises great fun and a chance to prove you're the smartest wolf in the pack. Let's have a wonderful time fundraising for Wolf Springs Elementary and celebrating all the amazing ways PTO supports our students and staff! 

 

 

 

FAQ

 

What does a trivia game look like?

8-player teams will engage in a battle of wits answering a variety of questions broken down into 4-6 themed rounds. Topics like general knowledge, pop culture, sports, history, music, movies, and more are all on the table. All knowledge levels and areas of expertise are welcome! Our trivia host will provide teams with whiteboards and markers to write down their answers while he emcees and asks the questions all while running a live scoreboard. Start brushing up on your Harry Potter and World War II knowledge, you never know what random facts will help put your team atop the leader board!

  

Who can attend?

Any adult (sorry kids, this event is only for the grownups) who wants to help support our amazing school! Parents, teachers, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, family, neighbors, and friends are all welcome!

 

Is trivia the only activity for the evening?

No! We will have a social hour at the beginning of the event and food, drinks, and a silent auction running throughout the event. After trivia has commenced, we will transition into a social complete with DJ!

 

What is this year's theme? Should I dress accordingly?

This year's theme is Hollywood! Get ready to channel your inner Audrey Hepburn or Carey Grant and come dressed to impress. We recommend wearing cocktail/formal attire to this year's event to help bring the theme to life.

 

What types of trivia questions will be asked? Will all the questions all Hollywood themed?

While some of our trivia questions will be aimed at Hollywood and the movies to go with our event theme, the rest will cover general knowledge topics. Last year we had questions ranging from music to movies to geography to math to history. This is a fun, low pressure event and all knowledge areas are welcome. You never know what fact you know that could help your team climb the leaderboard! 

 

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets cost $70 per person with 100% of the proceeds staying at Wolf Springs Elementary.

 

What’s included with my ticket?

Mouthwatering heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and soda will all be provided with the purchase of a ticket.

 

How do I register?

Click the link at the top of the page and follow the prompts.

 

Do I have to have a pre-arranged team to buy tickets?

No! Having a pre-arranged team is not required to buy tickets! We want everyone who wants to participate to buy tickets and attend. If you aren’t part of a pre-arranged team, no worries, we will form a team for you with our other guests. This is a great chance to meet different families from our school and to make connections.

 

Do I have to register and pay for my whole team at the same time?

While this might be the easiest way to go about things, it is not necessary. You can register all 8 people at once or one person at a time. You will be asked to enter a team name and team member names when you register, so we will be able to get you with your team even if you all register separately. 

 

What if I don't have an 8-person team?

Don't have a team of 8, no worries! When you purchase tickets, go ahead and write the names of the people you'd like to be seated with in the box when asked. We will merge smaller groups together to create 8 person teams.

 

Can I volunteer to help with the event?

Absolutely! We have lots of volunteer opportunities available. Check out the Sign-Up Genius link posted below.
